Gah! Damn it, we were gonna see them on the day before lollapalooza in Chicago, that sucks! Hope he makes a quick recovery, sounds like the prognosis is good...

i mean, i know what he is saying sorry for, but i think cancer is a good excuse to miss some shows

ya, i thought the same thing watching it...i think they're just disappointed cause they know people make travel arrangements to see them and stuff. my friend is flying from here (calgary) to montreal literally just to see beastie boys...and now they're not playing. clearly they have nothing to appologize for, but its a very class gesture nonetheless. lots of respect for them.

i remember when licensed to ill first came out, i got my friend the cassette for his birthday.. i wanted it too but couldnt afford to but it for myself also, so i opened it, recorded it and then gave it to him, lol

I love their music...I grew up to that shit. Seeing them perform live a couple of years ago was amazing...I like knew all the lyrics to all the songs

was very happy. Sorry to hear about Adams cancer....hope everything turns out good.
