Alan Fitzpatrick is one of the hottest properties in the techno scene today. His original productions through his own 8 Sided Dice imprint have become firm favourites with the best DJ’s on the planet including Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, Josh Wink, Laurent Garnier and so on. He’s also had originals and remixes on John Digweed’s Bedrock label, Adam Beyer’s Drumcode and King Unique’s Curfew so obviously we are delighted to have secured this big room techno tracks on Tokio.
On the remix front we have enlisted the talents of a pioneer of our scene in the form Mr Dick ‘Magik’ Johnson. Still a firm favourite with DJ’s everywhere, Dick’s footprints in house music can be traced back to the days of the Hacienda before going on to start up the legendary Shaboom record label. Today Dick is probably best known for his recent releases on Darren Emerson’s Underwater Records, Timo Garcia’s Berwick Street Records, NRK/Honchos, Southern Fried and of course his massive remix of King Unique’s ‘Asylum Sneaker’.
