    can anyone please help with s/w to convert files.rar to mp3 ?

      .rar means that the files have been compressed. Do a search for winrar on google and use it to decompress the files....it's kinda like winzip.... only better

          you need to unzip the file as .rar is a compressed file, like .zip

          Depends next what file format it is.
