I haven't checked out nevermind yet either. The sound system at the civic is good, but I'm not a huge fan of the layout, plus the drink prices were pretty high from memory. Laundry isn't too bad, it's just that they always let way too many people in, and turn up the music way too loud. Otherwise they have two main rooms which splits up the crowd, and a decent sized courtyard (where sasha will be playing nov 21
) where you can go up to get some air and relax which is nice. Occasionally the crows isn't the best though.
I haven't been to home in a long time (sydneys 'superclub' where svens side show, as well as a few other large events are held, but which normally puts on crappy hardstyle nights with the sort of crowd you would expect for that style of music) but when I was last there the sound system was average, and drink prices pretty high. Layout wasn't very good either. No club in sydney (that I've been to) has been able to combine good music, sound, and layout unfortunately.
