Our fourth original from Dana and Peder on the label is up there with their best. Sydney picks up where they left off with Djakarta; a typical fusion of deep and progressive and as uplifting a piece of house music as you’re likely to find. Laced with their trademark synth lines and pads galore, the track is built around a breakdown of epic proportions.
A veteran of the scene, Dutchman Stef Vrolijk’s form of driving progressive house has won him admirers across the board; from Danny Howells to Deep Dish, Stef’s productions have been supported by the best in the business. After a two year hiatus, he’s back doing what he does best, and continues on from tracks on Alternative Route and Soul Glow with his take on Sydney. Here he beefs things up considerably; adding a fat bottom end and sturdy beats that sit perfectly under the airy melodies of the original. This is an altogether clubbier workout that can easily hold its own on the floor.
Desyn Masiello - Steffy's on it with this, will definitely play.
Jody Wisternoff - Digging Stef's remix, very nice.
Dosem - Beautiful stuff! Deep and sensual...
Paul Rogers - Great stuff. Would it be possible to get a wav of the original - it's a blinder!
Scope - Nice melodic 80s vibe to this. I like how the piano groove is locked up in the remix, will spin both!
Steve Parry - Liking the Stef Vrolijk remix.
