Nice... I use about 3 - 5 different Dell's @ work, plus a few MacPro's. No windows at home, but I feel fortunate that I can navigate my way around it. I came from only having used apple's since the 80's.
Si, I'll trade your location and traveling for mine anyday.

i crashed my mac last night by turning it off during a system update. opps, this morning it wouldn't even turn on - kernel panick!, but then i fixed it. fuck, i love macs, even a retard like me can fix this shitComment

mmm thanks for the reminder... i have been putting off getting a big external to use time machine for such a long while now.
i really have to bite the bullet and get something soon because i dont know what i would do if i lost all of my data...
anyone have any recommendations? i have been eyeing the 2TB time capsule.
i have a 750gb imac and a 250gb macbook pro. i would be using the external for time machine for both computers and use any extra for general mp3 storage.

so i bought this 17" imac in 2007 and first time i took it in
lcd screen started with a pink line going up and down the screen then a few weeks later a purple one showed up.
then the disk drive burnt up, and the logic board went out at the same time
finally the HD crashed last week so having the protection plan worked out great they overnighted my brand new 20"
guess i had a lemon!!!! i need to set up time machineComment

As soon as I write this my laptop is gonna crash... but I've had the same 17" Powerbook G4 for more than 6 years now. Had one problem with the battery about a year after purchase and Apple did a great job taking care of my issue pronto. I use two 250gb Lacie external hard drives (manual backup)... no problems yet except for running out of space. Only an 80gb hard drive on the laptop, so transfer of files and music happens on a daily basis. I run Disk Warrior often and it seems to keep the bugs away.
Music is the answer, to your problems. Keep on movin', till you solve them.
