U2 Wembley Stadium last night

Morning all

Just woke up from a cracking night last night. I went into London to see U2 perform at Wembley. It has always been one of my ambitions to see this band live and I'm glad to say I finally did it.

They were awesome! Started off with a couple of tracks from their new album, but once they played the oldies the place was going nuts - 88,000 at Wembley! I was really impressed with the sound and Bono's vocals - I'd got the impression that his singing has been going downhill but not so-he was on top form.

Did anyone else from the board go to this?

No mate, didn't go to this. I went to the one in Croke Park on Sat 25 July. Best live experince i'v ever had. Such a spectacle!! I managed to blag m way up into the pit that ade that much better lol.

What was the sound like? When i saw the Foo Fighters at wembley it was awful, echoing really badly. Luckily we managed to move near the front of the stage where it was a lot better.

I envy you SO MUCH !!!!

Glad to hear MS members enjoying U2 that much.. Think they are almost unreal playing Live.. An experience everyone should get at least one time in life..
