Due to very detailed and signed Non-Disclosure agreements the following will have vague descriptions and abbreviations in quotations marks, per the NDA.
After the DJExpo from the past week, a very select few were able to experience the next gen of DJ equipment behind very secure and hidden doors by the big "P". We all know their products via the "three letter" abbreviation + respective model #. Low and behold, they take 2 of the best selling products and completely overhaul the design, mechanics, internal parts, capabilities, etc. A complete working prototype was presented and demo'd that looked and worked like amasterpiece of design and electronics that WILL BE A DEFINITE GAME CHANGER. Public release date is a month from now on the 17th. They will be strategically placing these at every major EDM festival in 2010 and major super clubs internationally in major metro markets.
Sorry to be so vague but multi-page NDA contract was so specific and were very serious on how and what anyone could say, write, etc. etc. Mindblowing IMHO. If anyone remembers how they released their current standard CD player product and the shift away from turntables, this will definiteily do the same.
I'm sure many questions will incur after this post and I will do my best to answer them with only a Yes or No and maybe brief explanation if deemable without contract breach. The reason for my selective and careful info is due in part that I may be working for one of big "P"'s largest southern distributers and manufactuers rep companies and would not want to jeopardize that.
