PestoMix 002 from Pesto Music
Time to kick off the second PestoMix - a Podcast from Pesto Music supplying you with fresh music, updates, DJ mixes and so on.
This time, we offer you a kind of inofficial PestoMix containing a mix with exclusive tracks and versions previously unreleased. You will have a sneek preview into the future of Pesto's release schedule (and that's just a very limited one, boy). The only tunes you might have heard already are Babak Shayan's "Azadi" that was already featured on the Bar1 compilation and Simone de Nauw's "Luv" which is also included in the mix compilation "Beautiful & Timeless". PestoMix 003 by Zorz Post
Here's PestoMix 003, this time coming from Zorz Post of Low Profile Bookings.
Low Profile Bookings, run by Zorz and his buddy Nick, are based in Kozani which lies in northern Greece, approx. one good hour by car from Thessaloniki. Georgios, as his real name is, is closely connected with the La Palma venue in Kozani that has seen guests from all over such as M.a.n.d.y., Terry Francis, Kevin Yost or lately Soda Inc. Zorz is known to provide excellent warmups but also has a residency in Kozani.
We're pretty sure you will enjoy his soothing blend of deep and groovy TechHouse, sexy Chicago body music and some electronic-influenced stuff that still sticks to an irresistable hip-shaking impulse (maybe it's also because spring is close). Here's the tracklist:

PestoMix 004 by Jon Silva
ong time without a PestoMix, we're aware of that - well, here you are: PestoMix 004 by Pesto Music head honcho Jon Silva. At the same time being the actual PestoMix, loyal followers of the Jon Silva Mixtapes series will get Mixtapes Vol. 9: "Music For Beach Bars" with this issue.
With this PestoMix, we have to announce several improvements. First, we offer a 128kBits AAC stream that enables us to chapter the whole file. This means you will find links to the respective record labels and/or artists from within the file when you listen to it in iTunes (or any other AAC player being capable of displaying chapters - please see the link for compatible players).
For all those that need or want to stick with the MP3 format, there's good news, too: instead of a bitrate of 96kBits, we'll shift up to 192kBits in order to deliver more shining hifi glory to you.

PestoMix 005: Zoltan of "From P60"
Weekend ahead, couple of parties to attend, new PestoMix - what could you wish more from a weekend?
Zoltan Nagy, the guy behind the "From P60" project gets his first PestoMix your way. For members of the Pesto community, this one is already kinda old, yet not dated: you can have previews on upcoming mixes and stuff when you register (hey, it's free and fast) for our Pesto community. For all the rest, this is a top notch DJ mix by the "From P60" guy.
It's funny because it features a couple of Pesto Music's all time favs such as Dennis Ferrer's "Unconditional Love ", Spiritchaser's "As We Continue" and many more items. It's vibrating between instant classics, roots and new stuff - and you'll love it!Happy

PestoMix 006: Jon Silva Mixtapes Vol. 10 - Coast 2 Coast
2008 is knocking on our doors, but we don't hear it as the last PestoMix for 2007 is pumping out of our speakers!
We thought it might be a good idea to publish another PestoMix now because 2008 will see a lot more issues of our popular podcast. For the one in January, we are proud to announce that our mate Da Funk of Acryl Music will be our man - between us, this has been overdue and we're really looking forward!
Furthermore, there's a competition running on our Pesto community: visit the board, register for free and post a link to your DJ mix because we're giving out guest slots for the PestoMix series! PestoMix 007: Da Funk of Acryl Music
Odd man out: a sunny afternoon, a drink in your hand and a new PestoMix running at a high level. What? It's raining on your side of the globe? We're sorry, but here's the seventh installment of our PestoMix series, this time compiled and mixed by Switzerland's Da Funk of Acryl Music - bringing the sunshine back to your life.
Earlier this year, we announced Da Funk's PestoMix as our January issue. It still is, although it's being released in February (which implies there's a second mix coming soon). Da Funk is currently very busy with a couple of releases (on Conya, Plastic City, Traxx Recordings and others) and remix projects for a bunch of hi class labels such as 2 Delicious. So we're happy he found the time to supply us with an excellent selection of banging tunes!

You are staying in touch with him, become online friends and it turns out that his wife is an amazing singer.
Sounds like a fairytale? It surely is, but that's the story how Ricardo Torres, Sandra Lima and Jon Silva got in touch.
So today is like a dream come true in several ways: first off, we are proud to present PestoMix 008 by West Coast Collective's Ricardo Torres.
