The good news is that it seems that, on the whole, the town halls have cooled down a bit and although there is a lot of passionate discussion, most of the opponents to health care reform have moved past trying to drown out discussion in toto.
The bad news, however, is that ignorance is still alive and well, and there are people that will oppose something for the sake of opposing it, using the most vitriolic and offensive language imaginable. Check this out:

As a preview, this guy is Jewish and is lauding praise on the Israeli health care system. Some woman decides to oppose him by simply yelling "Heil Hitler." And the real kicker is that she was evidently wearing an "Israeli Defense Forces" shirt at the time, suggesting that she's not actually an anti-Semite, she just disagrees with this guy and wanted to express that disagreement by going for the jugular on something that has absolutely nothing to do with health care whatsoever. Really, really sad.
