True, but I only bought the Joris Voorn one on word of mouth (never heard the guy before) and the fact the Balance CDs have, without exception, been brilliant since the James Holden one (haven't heard the earlier ones).

Looking forward to getting my hands on this - Simple Records & Aus (which Will runs) are two of the best labels out there. Anyone sitting on the fence should check out the website - loads on mixes to stream by Will amongst others.

Got the cd today, but I'm sorry to say... it's a bit boring.

Most of the tracks on cd1 (especially the first half of the cd) are so boring that I almost fell in sleep. I was happy that there were some good tracks at the end of that cd (more deep-house kinda things).

Cd 2 starts great, but for example track nr. 6 and 7 ruine it. Damn, I don't know why he had choosen that kind of boring track, but for me it were "next track please" numbers. At the end of cd 2 there are some nice tunes.

Cd 3 has got more energie and it has some vocal and instrumental things, but it still isn't it. Offcourse there are some good tunes on it like on the other cd's, but I want to hear better tunes...

You can chill out on this album for sure, but after Balance 14 I expected something else. It's really a shame. Thought that somebody said that this album was the shit compared to Digweed's Bedrock 11, but it's not by a very long mile. The cd is not bad, but it's not great too. I prefered 1 or maybe 2 cd's with the good tunes of this whole album instead of 3 boring cd's with to much "next track please" on it.

All I've heard is CD 2 so far, but I thought it was the bees kness.

You have to listen to these cds as their own, you shouldn't compare it to any other Balance release, they are all different in their own light. This is a different sound that I am used to, but it's unique and still keeps that dirty edge I'm so fond of.
