    Recomendations for NYE at NYC?

Any suggestions on the right place to be in NYE in New York?

What are you doing in Durham? have you been to any of clubs down there yet? As for NYC, I hear that PVD will be in town. Forget where.
Check out www.madeevent.com for NY related info.

Thank you for your answerMixwell. I'm doing a masters at Duke. Durham is the quietest place on earth, nothing has happened since I got here. That is why I'm planning to go to NYC for NYE to see if I can catch something fun.

Unfortunately, I'm not very much into trance, but I'll check the website to see what is happening up there.

      Happy holidays

yes--Godskitchen is hosting PvD for NYE; a very special event with some great surprises; lots of dancers, visuals effects and lighting; truly trying to make it not just a night during NYE, but something to remember.

I think you may want to go somewhere else. NYC is really depressing this year for NYE in terms of house. Nothing but trance at the big clubs and not much else at the small ones.

yeah, but the night after we got Calderone & DJ Vibe at Spirit...now that's a pounding house lineup!

There's a very cool little club called Sullivan Room in Greenwich Village you might want to check out. They do some pretty solid house nights and the crowd is almost always up for it. The lineup is mostly local talent for NYE but I've seen all these guys and there's lots of talent on the lineup...maybe you know some of 'em. Matt and Dennis are frm 112 Crew.
I've scoured the city and this is without question the best option for house music and minimal extortion.
