Sven Vath was amazing...he played a god damn killer set...ended up going to that and came to at like 10 am in some whore house in south Amsterdam...no idea how I ended up there...friday was a bit of a blur got really drunk and visited several parties can't remember a whole lot to be honest hehe...saturday was probably the best day that I recall...started up in the nearest coffee shop and going from party to party...beautiful woman, beer and weed...finished the night by taking some shrooms and listening to an amazing elke kleijn set...sunday...i met a nice girl who worked at one of the coffee shops and ended up talking to her for like 6 hours...was supposed to meet her at some DnB party...but instead went for a steak and walked around red light district bars drinking and smoking...monday took it easy went to a coffee shop and took a taxi to airport....
All in all...I think I will be going back there some time soon

Let me get this straight.
So white-middle class Americans have been told by their Television sets to be fearful of:
1. Mexicans/Latinos from the South bringing drugs and killings n' shit.
2. African Americans cause mos def they are raging a race war and want to occupy America like how the plebs occupied Wall St.
3. Iranians/Afghans/Any one of middle eastern origin to be quite frank, cause you know Islam...
4. North Koreans/Chinese cause you know everything...
It has been a long time since I listened to Peluca drop hauting vocals like those on minute 16 , it reminded me of what he used to spin back in 2003 . I'm almost positive those are some vocals from a classic trance track.
Good ears Haziel! It's Ultraviolet - Kites (Pete Gooding Remix). The original of this track is on the bible of progressive sounds: Northern Exposure I.

STILL pumpin out great set after great set...never cheesed out, never sold out, never lost his touch..
Simply does not get any better than Hernan
If you ever had a chance to witness an extended 6 to 8 hr. Catta set this is what it would probably sound like in the second to 3rd hour of it .
Not too many "high hands in the air" moments just keeping the groove in place and taking you on a trip that you will never forget. I have to say also that many of this tunes sound very much like his Master series 3 but of course less elaborated and more club wise .
It made me think that this mix will not in any case get even close to something that could be experienced on a live show . Just glad is there for us to listen to, but it also makes me extremely sad that we are already on September and this might be the first year after 7 in a row that i didnt get a chance to see Catta live. My first time was back in 2002 @ a little club called "piano" in Lima Peru no more than 200 peeps for that night ... that was the night i knew this guy was something else. I always think that a Live Hernan is a total different experience that a studio or promo mix one.
Anyways back to the mix as Im listening to it right now . Im going through minute 24 and Davis & May - Dark wings is playing which was a great way to uplift and refresh the moment .
I noticed 1 thing that i have never noticed on any hernan set , he use 2 different tracks with the same sound structure and used them for the same purpose on different ocassions which was to create an intriguing moment adding a lot of expectation to the set , this happened on minute ... [00:53:00] with that track and then again on [01:35:00] I find it interesting because i had never caught this and I bet it works perfect for a live audience.
wonderfull 2ND part still liking the first part more
