Scope & Mark Lowry: ‘Fine Dining EP’ [Urban Torque]

Scope & Mark Lowry: ‘Fine Dining EP’

    1. ‘Curovizer’
    2. ‘Muasi’

The ‘Fine Dining EP’ is another audaciously scorching collaboration from Scope, this time in cahoots with long-standing Shindig resident Mark Lowry. Both tracks stand out for their masterfully layered composition, rich musicality and hint of Balearic warmth. Nourishing and enticing summer fare lovingly prepared by two astute connoisseurs.

    1. ‘Curovizer’ – A deep, dreamy, delicate tapestry of soaring chords, leaping bass and clapping percussion which will joyfully transport you to a warmer place within seconds.

    2. ‘Muasi’ – A more aggressive beat pounds on this cut, whilst impassioned synths build to develop a hope-filled subtext.

Scope's arrival on the global House scene was marked early in 2007 with his debut "Strung Out" ep on Urbantorque, which received massive support across the board, with plays from Fish Go Deep to Sander Kleinenberg, Jimpster to Deep Dish.

Mark Lowry is resident DJ at Newcastle’s Shindig. He’s had previous production success teaming-up with Lexicon Avenue's Scott Bradford and Mark Armstrong under the aliases S-Low & Damaged People. Recent collaborations and accompanied remix projects, on labels such as Urban Torque, Saw (Mardel), Movim (Airgroove) and Positiva, have not only gained plenty of support from underground DJ's, but represent another chapter and slice of Mark's output.
