How bad are times for California? So bad that Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger is now autographing used cars to sell online.
Oh yes, it has come to this. The state, in desperate need of cash, is cleaning out its storage and putting items up for sale on eBay (EBAY), Craigslist and other places, The Los Angeles Times reports. And with a signature from the Governator, maybe those things will bring in a little more cash.
A 2002 gold Ford Focus with some 108,000 miles on it, for example, had Schwarzenegger's autograph on the visor and was going for $2,125 on eBay. The state will hold a two-day auction for other items starting Friday in Sacramento.

How did you fix your budget? The real estate is driving Cali into the ground. Just wait unit house prices drop another 30% over the next year.

Had to happen eventually, everyone in Cali knew it was funny money anyway, the property owners there are more sophisticated you might guess...A friend of mine who finally is in escrow on a $400K condo in San Diego was 1 of 20 offers on multiple properties before he landed this one thanks to knowing someone who was friends with the selling agent. Very competitive market right now in socal, people are really jumping at the chance to own/invest right now.

I guess, but we needed to work on Border control in the 80's and 90's a loooooooong time ago..

Now we have hundreds of thousands driving illegally, with no insurance,license...
over 600 more cars on the road every day.
