Re: why do Burridge and JZ fans love mid-weekers??
I think mid week or Sunday night events always turn out to be the best. Pretty much everyone there is there specifically for the DJs. Otherwise, they'd just as soon stay at home and get some rest.
The less people you have that just want to get drunk and find someone to hook up with, the better the night always is.
As for JZ and Burridge together, I saw them at WMC this year, and I thought Burridge blew JZ out of the water. I love them both, but JZ's start and stop, tension building sort of style always felt like a momentum killer after Burridge's "get your ass up and dance" type style.
To me, JZ needs a good couple of hours to really get you into his space, as his style is so unique. It's really hard for it to gel with others.
