After seeing the third, this franchise needs to be put to rest.
No Blade 4 please. Wesley Snipes is about due for something else now.Score so far: Owned ZoverTard 8 times - twice in one week! Twice more in same weekend.
More than six months later - he's still pissed LOL - check the last visitor - guess who the last visitor is on my profile page.

Blade 3 was almost a different movie altogether. Goyer was thinking about basing the third one on the book 'I Am Legend'
It would take place 50 years in the future where Vampires rule the earth, and humans are loaded on trains and sent off to camps. Goyer talked about how the movie would open with humans being herded into a train... Blade would be in the corner of the train car, but you wouldn't realize it was him.. dreads and all! He'd then proceed to bust all the humans out of that particular camp.
That woulda been alright! We are the ones we've been waiting for.Comment

Re: BLADE: TRINITY (BLADE 3)
i'll probably watch it tomorrow night.
still think one of the best scenes from any movie was the bloodbath scene in the underground club when they're blasting "confusion" by new order.

My full review from Tribe (the magazine I write for):
I really wanted to like this movie a lot more than I did. It's unfortunate and somewhat depressing to see a franchise that started out so strong and ahead of the pack back in 1998 run out of steam and struggling to show any kind of ingenuity or originality. The charm seems to have worn off.
Poor Wesley Snipes, with his legal troubles, paternity suits and everything else that's going on in his life, looks like it's all taken its toll on him. He looks tired. Very tired.
Kris Kristopherson sounded like he was reading off of cue cards, and gave off a "fuck this, where's my paycheque?" vibe.
The new blood introduced into the film has mixed results. Jessica Biel makes fine eye candy, but the whole gratutitous Apple iPod shots and needing to listen to mp3's while fighting was rediculous. Former indie film siren Parker Posey has seriously taken a career dive if she's starring in this and having WWE Wrestler HHH coming off as a better actor. And Dracula? What a fucking pussy.
The only silver lining of the film is Ryan Renyolds (which I remember kat mentionning saving the film, and she's absolutely right), while he deadpans like crazy, he still delivers it with enough gusto and charisma to lighten up the movie.
As for the direction, you'd think that maybe David S. Goyer, the writer behind the first two Blade films would maybe offer up something new to the third film, as he managed to make the first two seperate and distinct. Instead he recycles a lot of the first two films (most notably the time lapse daylight effects of the first and the rather unusual mouths of the vampires from the second), and doesn't really establish himself as pulling off much that's original, instead coming off as ripping off Stephen Norrington and Guillermo Del Toro, the directors of the first two films. Fight scenes are edited to near incomprehensiblity and really don't establish themselves as being anything special, and the ashing effect of vampires is now a pretty tired thing to watch after a point. There's a couple of very striking shots in the film (most notably in a blood harvesting facility - but even that was touched on in the first Blade), but not enough to buoy the film enough to seperate itself from the other two, and certainly not enough to be considered an even remotely good film.
Too bad too. The first Blade was a groundbreaking film that influenced and spearheaded a lot of the best action films we've seen since 1998.Score so far: Owned ZoverTard 8 times - twice in one week! Twice more in same weekend.

Blade 3 SUCKED!!
It,s what you would call a WOT film
Meaning
Waste Of Talent.
I read Wesley choked the directer and the Dir got bodyguards in the nect day to keep Wesley away from him..
Wesley tried to get things done his way but with this film it just didn,t happen.
I feel there will be a Blade Final and Wesley will kicK Ass.
Blade 2 was cool I found out there are 4 cuts for Blade2.
The uncut one was shown in the UK or Asian.Comment
