[Request] Oakenfold Cream Residency Sets

Huge longshot this (possibly I am asking for something that doesn't even exist!) but, apart from the live Essential Mixes, are there any bootlegs / sets of Oakey at Cream out there, and if so any chance of someone uploading them?

I've never seen any on Soulseek or on the occasional Google search, but I find it incredible if such a legendary residency never ended up being recorded and bootlegged apart from a few live EMs.

He really was at the top of his game in the 1995 - 1999 period. Shame he's such a shadow of his former self now (IMHO of course!) No doubt this thread will quickly sink into obscurity, but no harm in asking I hope

He talked about putting some residency sets up for members of his new website.

Nothing else available - Darren Hughes must have kept all the tapes !

Thought you may like these links as Si says think Darren Hughes has any recordings under his pillow somewhere, think the essential mix in November 97 or 98 comes closest to one of his residency sets although he changed his set around with being on the radio.

Also the you tube links where taken on a Sunday night not the Saturday as this was for tv only

It used to go off in that room though big time. i don't think them videos are from 97 the track on the first video is Timo Mass UBIK. I recon 1999

Yeah it was 1999, Good spot as usual Chris as I say it was a one off for tv, on a Sunday nt something like £5 to get in Bargin instead of the usual £10-£12 at the time

A more chilled out version of Bullet (Solar Stone 2000 remix) - he always played the hard banging version when I heard him !

Hated the Rabbit In The Moon remix - the Solar one sounds fantastic.

Remember when that was broadcast - still have the whole show on VHS somewhere!

The BBC did some sort of live music thing over the late May 2000 bank holiday - it was the same weekend as Homelands 2000 IIRC - Homelands on the Saturday, Cream Live show on BBC2 on the Sunday with a repeat of the Basement Jaxx EM on Radio 1 as well.

Watching them videos made my hairs stand on end. |I remember now why I didn't go to the Sunday night Cream event, it was the day after the legendary MudLands in Winchester.
