Yes, we’ve officially gone weekly with our podcast mixes, and the world is now a better place for it.
This week’s instalment leaves you in the very capable hands of techno stalwart Oliver Huntemann, who provides us with an exclusive live set from a recent performance at Ibiza’s legendary Space club.
Having produced some very fine electronic tuneage – straddling all kinds of techno, edgy house, ambient and plenty more – over a grand total of 17 years, Huntemann clearly knows his way around the decks, and his distinctive dark, crisp electronic style – as much influenced by the early acid house scene and hip hop as it is by a wide range of European and American techno producers, particularly the Detroit crew – is evidently in fine form if this blinding live set (featuring the likes of Basic Channel, Carl Craig and Radio Slave) is anything to go by.
Huntemann will also be performing at this year’s annual Reworks Festival, held in Thessaloniki, Greece on 18-19 September, where he’ll be joined by the likes of Daedelus, Sven Vath, DJ Medhi and many more dance and electronic bods, who’ll be working the sun-kissed crowds into a frenzy, offering the perfect excuse to finish off the season with one final festival. -</p> <h2>You must be a registered user to download this album - Click to login or join
