Slam and Silicone Soul are currently touring Australia , stopping off for a string of dates across the country, including performances together at several Soma Recordings events.
SLAM flew out earlier this week for their first tour down under for 4 years, taking in some of the best clubs and parties on route.
Australia has always been one of their favourite places, with receptive crowds who know their music and plenty of Slam and Soma fans, as well as more for obvious reasons, like escaping the wet Glasgow Summer!
Both acts will kick things off with a Soma show in Melbourne on 18th September, before moving on for another in Brisbane. The acts will then go on to play separate shows in Byron Bay, Sydney and Perth. Both acts are also confirmed headliners for this year's Sydney Earthdance festival at a secret location.
Making their Australian debut, Silicone Soul have been associated with Slam's Soma Records imprint since their production debut in 1998, most recently releasing their self-titled, fourth studio album through the label earlier this year which is receiving plays, props, plaudits and praise from the house music fraternity.

I'm not the biggest techno fan, but this was a great party !! I really went for Silicon Soul , I've heard a couple of their mixes lately that I have really liked. Actually I have one from Kiss fm I must put up. But on the night Slam took first prize , Silicon soul were just a tad more subdued then I would loved, but still really good, particularly as a warm up for Slam , who were fabulous !! 
He held up a bottle and pointed to it. I was dancing at the time . I don't actually drink in clubs 
Was a really fun night !!
