    I'm going to Anchorage tomorrow for ten days. Anybody know of anything cool I have to check out?

                  What's the weather like this time of year, how many hours per day is there sunlight?

                          Are you staying in Anchorage the whole time or are you planning on traveling to other cities as well? Anchorage is cool but I don't know about 10 days there considering that the truly 'gem locations' are a bit further outside, remote/closer to nature & parks, and near the smaller towns.

                          Alaska is quite a surreal place no matter where you go. Absolutely surreal, no other place on Earth like it imo.

                          I've traveled to Alaska twice, once for a 2 week cruise and another time for a 3 week travel/trek inland where I visited 8 different places. All in all it's one of the most amazing areas that I have ever been to. There really is not any place in the world that is quite as pristine and untouched as Alaska! I'm definitely jealous!
