What kind of on-line library do you use? I'd be interesting in setting up on for myself. Ever since my harddrive crashed, I've got my music all over the place and its been a mess to sort through.

Dusk - I had exactly the same problem mate. My hard drive went caput in 2007 and I lost anything I didn't have a physical copy off or had burnt to cd to listen to in the car.

Ignore the dodgy reviews (which are a minority anyway) - I've had mine over a year and had no problems with it - and I have a rule that I don't put anything on it unless I've already backed up what I'm transferring onto MP3CD or DVD (for FLACs, photos, etc) so if it DOES go tits up I can rebuild from scratch.

Really handy to have everything in one place and really easy to set up - as long as you back up onto another piece of media as well, you shouldn't have any problems.

No idea about online libraries though. Sorry!

^^^ Thanks mate, I did eventually pick up a 500gb external hard drive and several other little bitty ones however that just adds to my chaos and files displaced all over these drives.

I was just putting my external hard drive in order one afternoon.

Dusk - I just sort the files in i-tunes: incl. tracklistings on the lyrics tab so I can view them on my i-pod.

Is there a way to 'unlock' a set if the Info tab is grayed out in itunes?

^^ yeh .... but I also grab the Proton rip a couple of days earlier - then replace it with the [ms] kiss show for longevity. So it's now Transitions rather than the radio station.

+ I've never forgiven Kiss for taking the show off air in early 2004 and arsing around with the time slot, finally airing it an an un-godly hour to make way for Armin.

Now it seems that my itunes library file is corrupt, every time I restart itunes my library disappears... damn, I wish Floola would work with my itouch, this is way toooo much work! The very reason I had given up on itunes in the first place....grrr.
