Loop Music Mix Show with Steve Marx & DJ Macleod
Afternoon all,
Hope those of you coming to see Nick and Sasha tonight your excited as are here at the loop factory. Heres some music to get you in the mood
This week we welcome out guest from Heidelberg Germany DJ Macleod
dj macleod (aka Paul Andrews) started out in the music business as road crew for Pink Floyd on their “Dark side of the moon tour”.
In the mid-eighties, a revolution began the old guard was swept away, as first the hip-hop and electro sounds from New York, and then the house music from Chicago, techno from Detroit and the ‘Balearic Beat’ in Ibiza were embraced by a new set of UK promoters and DJ’s.
After being heavily influenced by the Manchester/London sound I began to play small underground parties in the growing warehouse scene. My roots were firmly placed in the techno fused with deep house which is the fundamental basis for everthing I have done since.
My mixing style approach to deep house, tech house are woven together in a distinctive style.
