So Iran apparently built a second nuclear reactor without the rest of the world knowing. WOW.. Do they actually think I was born yesterday? With things like google earth and US spy satellites am I supposed to believe that they built this reactor without anyone knowing????

Obviously, the USA did find out at some point about the second reactor being built, or else they wouldn't have made the case at the summit this week.

The US government could have known for some time, but they chose not to go public with it until this past week at the summit. That's probably why the media is suddenly reacting to it, because they just recently found out about it. It is new information as far as the media and the public are concerned, which is why they call it "the news". Get it?

Well here's a news flash for you: the world has never been "fine". It's always been about wars and economic crises and periods of suffering since mankind first crawled out of the cave. And yet life goes on somehow and the sky has not yet fallen.

And we all know what's going on in the world; we do read the news.

I just don't even see what your point is with this thread. What exactly do you think you're telling us about this situation that we don't already know?

At a high level, the situation is very straightforward. The Iranians built the reactor; the Americans found out about it at some point ( no one knows exactly when); and no one knows what exactly will happen in the future as a result.

So what's your point?
