<h2>
Forget all preconceptions about Scotland, and Scottish life.
A far cry from the images of rolling heather and mist, the majority of Scotland's population in fact lives in an urban sprawl. Stretching from coast to coast the tows of tenements and high rise constructions makes for a grim skyline.
Perhaps that's why The Twilight Sad have chosen to burrow deep within themselves. Playing their first shows as a noise jam collective, the band eventually focussed on writing songs - but without losing their experimental nous.
Debut album 'Fourteen Autumns & Fifteen Winters' arrived with breathless reviews, as fans swooned at their deeply emotional music. In singer James Graham the band found a focal point, a frontman capable of crafting stunning lyrics and transferring them in the live arena.
Returning with their new album 'Forget The Night Ahead' it seems that The Twilight Sad have mastered the studio. A lush yet frequently imposing effort, it shows the group fully emerging as an entity.
From opening track 'Reflection Of The Television' to the final strains of 'At The Burnside' the new album by The Twilight Sad is steeped in ambition. Deeply personal, 'Forget The Night Ahead' is an album that unfolds over the course of days, weeks and years.
Something to treasure, you can listen to it now exclusively on ClashMusic!
