There is something terribly wrong with the US.
Was anything said about this on MSM in the US?

“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.”

Re:
Kind of old news but it was basically glassed over, so to speak, by the mainstream U.S. media. They made it seem like the protestors deserved that type of treatment by the authorities.

Re:
Oh, you'll love this too...
WTF!^With the help of Homeland Security grants, police departments nationwide looking to subdue unruly crowds and political protesters are purchasing a high-tech device originally used by the military to repel battlefield insurgents and Somali pirates with piercing noise capable of damaging hearing.
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/...unruly-crowds/"Police should not be using military weapons that are likely to cause permanent hearing loss on demonstrators or anyone else," said Vic Walczak, legal director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Pennsylvania who objected to the Pittsburgh police's use of the device.
The American Tinnitus Association said Wednesday that protesters at the G-20 summit were "acoustically assaulted" with sound of over 140 decibels, which it described as "like the kind of sound pressure members of the armed services might face from an Improvised Explosive Device (IED)."Comment

Re:
Heard nothing of it at all until yesterday. Although I have read somewhere that a US company or air force has developed a similar weapon except it shoots out microwave beams that burns the skin.
And you can pretty much guarantee that it too, will be used on American citizens.
Quite sad really.“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. Re:
What makes me mad as hell is the fact that "police", are willing to inflict all sorts of pain on the people that they are supposed to serve and protect. " I'm only following orders", given as a reason/excuse is simply not good enough and citizens will only tolerate so much before some serious shit happens.
The support for the right to bear arms, really doesn't sound that crazy anymore.“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. Re: US protesters hit with Sound Cannons
Yes, something is very wrong with using this type of weapon against protesters. I would bet the reason you didn't see this covered in the mainstream media is because it could potentially make Obama look bad. The media are not doing their job and should not be a tool of the government.Never interrupt your enemy when he's making a mistake - Napoleon BonaparteComment

Re: US protesters hit with Sound Cannons
it was on the mainstream media for a bit, i saw it on CNN and on Fox, like we discussed on the other thread it didnt became something the big networks would be interested in because as usual they were very violent crows, like in any other G20 summit, only this time they only gathered no more than 100 people on each protest.
plus, the cops using a "sound machine" surely beats using water cannons, plastic bullet guns, tasers and all of the other things police use during these kinds of protest...:: listen :: react ::..

I would much rather get shot with a water cannon (ooooo...I'm wet.) then be subjected to possible permanent hearing loss &/or death form a LRAD.Comment

Re: US protesters hit with Sound Cannons
like we said in the other thread, there is no proof of the so called "peaceful protesting" when i saw it on CNN it basically showed people throwing stones at cops so that basically tells you they werent in fact being peaceful at all...:: listen :: react ::..

Re: US protesters hit with Sound Cannons
I haven't even seen anything about this event on television, yet I'm willing to bet my balls that CNN showed nothing other than people throwing rocks.
MSM is not a friend of US citizens and nor do they pretend to be. They will serve up whatever the governments agenda is and will do so without any resistance or shame. If anything, MSM is the enemy and the cause of much of what is wrong with the US at the moment.
A sound cannon isn't directed at any one person. Everyone from reporters to bystanders would've been subjected to the assault.
The problem with these devices is that they don't discriminate. Imo, weapons such as the sound cannon are designed purely for use on a civilian population.“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly.
