well, if i get a suspicion of re-encoding, yes i do as there are not many ways to find out a re-encode. If you see a frequency cut at ~16Khz you can be sure the original source wasn't better than 128k.

Yeah, it's really good to hear a top DJ do a really great warmup set.

i said: not only re-encoded.
normalize, fade, volume, etc.
download both, just listen to them, and keep the better

I havent really liked anything ive heard of Chris Fortier for maybe the past 5 years but this is really growing on me. Maybe more DJ's should go back to their roots like Chris has done here. Thanks.
