Will it live up to LOTR? Jackson was paid $20 million, the largest salary ever to a director pre-production.

Stars: Naomi Watts, Jack Black, and Adrien Brody. Screenplay is cowritten by Jackson and the composer is Howard Shore (The Lord of the Rings, Seven, Philadelphia, The Silence of the Lambs).

I really think that Peter Jackson will pull this one off. What do you all think?

I've been reading a lot about what weta, the visual effects studio formed from the work on lord of the rings, and everything sounds sick, effects wise. I'm looking forward to this for sure.

that movie was horrible! I saw the DVD on sale today at Walmart for $5, I laughed, then threw it at the edge of the pile. I'd much rather watch gay porn than Godzilla again.
