Okay, so i am a bit out of touch with naming tunes on the fly, but whatever....
wow, went to opera in atlanta to see sasha tonight, kazell opened as usual which i'm happy about. kazell played a great set and really threw it down and got the crowd hyped up. haven't heard/seen kazell get the crowd hyped up like that in a while.
sasha came on kinda late, maybe 12 or 12:30 and played until about 2:30 to 2:45... that's when it started winding down which is typical at opera, but no worries. he had several "catch your breath" moments where i was kinda sitting around the dance floor waiting for him to wind it back up but god damn when he tied one on, he TIED ONE ON! had a good time and i was meeting/talking to everyone on the dance floor. everyone was really nice and they seemed to have a great time. lots of really nice lookin females too. i met dorothy from wizard of oz! she was a lot hotter than the orignal dorothy! when sasha was closing he played a Phoenix - Lisztomania remix i hadn't heard before. of course it worked perfectly. that's one of my favorite songs and if you haven't heard it, you should! short review, i forgot my camera damnit and i am hammered. so that's about all you're gettin.
one thing i appreciated tonight as well as when sasha played with digweed here a few months ago is i didn't notice a whole lot of over-doing abelton effects. he had some moments where it was obvious but it fit perfectly. great show! i need to sleep.
