Presently in Australia finishing his third artist album with super producer Josh Abrahams, Cox also has another ace up his sleeve - his first ever mix for Global Underground, inspired by his times at insane desert festival Burning Man. It's bound to be another defining moment for the techno titan.

I'm surprised he hasn't done one before. He's certainly the caliber the brand used to represent.

Do you recon he will do the gig then the mix the gig was inspired from, or like the new GU concept the mix then the gig the mix was inspired from.

Wish they would use live recordings like the old Moonshine Label. They had some crap ones like Dave Aude but Cox did one from Crobar which was epic circa 2001-2002 I think. I remeber just looking for the bright orange label they had in the house section.

Since the gig was in the summer and the mix is out in January I bet that he did the mix afterwards.

Ditto. He seemed the obvious DJ missing from the line up when GU were at their late 90s early 2000s peak.
