You will surely see amazingly beatiful women.
It's been such a long time since I visited the city so I don't rememer much.

Do not forget to try Gulash and visit that famous Gellert Hill for wonderful view of the city. Also the Danube cruise is definitely something to do.
With regards to events and parties I do not have a clue

^ he doesn't actually play in budapest though. he was there last christmas when i was there, but he plays outside of town and the fucking hungarian trains were on strike. i forget the name of the place

When I went to Budapest, I've been in 2 bars, one under the water in Erzsébet Ter and the other in an old building in Kazinczy Utca I think.
The old city of Buda is nice too. Get your hands on some Tokaj wine, it's excellent with a chocolate cake or any dessert. Afterall, it's the wine of the Kings and the king of wine.

Ironically one of my good mates from Budapest is visiting Dubai this week, otherwise he would have been a great guide......there's a really great underground party that goes on in Corninteto near Moskva Ter, usually dubstep, d n b or breaks but with a great, unpretentious, off-your-face atmosphere......try the A 38 boat on the Danube as well, my mate says he saw Carl Craig play one of the best sets he's ever seen there.....let me get some more details from him in a while, Junkie and Hawky are one of the best pair of local DJ's, really great deep house and deep techno....

Pardon the pun, but Hungarian girls are a bit too.....erm.....chunky for my tastes......Poland, Slovakia, Croatia, ex-Yugoslav Republics is where you wanna be at......even from a distance you can make out how insanely fine they are
