    Nirvana

Just recieved the CD-DVD of this fine group live at Reading 1992.

Watching this now, could this possibly be one of THE memoriable live performances ever?? Not just for one, but a few reasons.

I was always into this band but just stopped listening to them because of all the new music coming out. It's great to go back and listen to all these tracks. Especially in 5.1.

    Goosebumps!!

great!!!!! I love nirvana, the best thing that could happen in the life of a teenager was that Nirvana existed... I grew up listening to them, being a teen and "understanding" their music, those states of depression and anger... hehehe itīs funny now that I look back at the past

Bleach and their Unplugged album are the only quality albums that could stand the test of time imo and I've heard them all quiet a bit...

Bleach is also my favourite of theirs, and let me be a snotty elitist by saying that I actually got that album quite some time before the whole Nevermind "explosion", I had been following the band a bit before that one came out.

Obviously Nevermind is a fucking amazing album anyway, I just never felt it actually represented what Nirvana really was, and I think Kurt thought of it the same way.

I think Nevermind wouldnīt sound so "dated" and would be one of the greatest albums of all time if it had Bleachīs production. I think the production on Nevermind, and especially the mixing, worked well for radio at the time but nowadays it acts against the songs.

According to the news, it already did, ion the 3rd of November.

Iīve been reading some reviews, I was actually afraid Sub-Pop was gonna ruin this with the remaster, but from what Iīve read, it was done by Jack Endino (the original producer) and it doesnīt mess with the original sound and feel (those drums! ), it also includes a 33 minute live show from that era which is supposedly brilliant.
