According to Ben Watt on Twitter DJDownload have indeed gone into administration with Juno Download picking up the assets.

Shame - they were one of the good guys, excellent customer support, though I hadn't used them for a while as I've abandoned MP3 in favour of WAV / FLAC. Moves us closer to an iTunes & Beatport $$$$ monopoly - a dark day indeed if it happens.

I would encourage you all, where you can, to support Juno, 7Digital, and Audiojelly who all offer a good selection and a much, much better purchasing experience and customer support. And, in the UK at least, better prices.

Make sure DJDownload are the last, not the first of many.

djdownload has way too much crap for music just like beatport. i've given up on spending forever sifting thru tons of tunes to find one or two tunes that are good. wish there was a little more discretion in releases these days. i'm sure a lot of people deal with that just like me and they stop shopping because its annoying and seemingly a waste of time.

i stopped aimlessly browsing. if i hear something in a mix i like i pray for a t/l and search google for a site to buy the track.
