            Re: News from Further Records!

our android cartel release is out today. lots of support on this one..

Grab this fantastic EP from the Androids at www.beatport.com

Support from John Digweed, Hernan Catteneo, Joel Mull, Alland Byallo and more!

Android Cartel are two robots from the Los Angeles area. They've created thier own blend of Tekfunk that has been scooped up by labels such as Steve Lawler's Viva and Quivver's Boz Boz and now they release a new EP for Further Records called 'A Million Memories'. The original is a techfunk workout that found its way to John Digweed who had it exclusive for a year and played it out and on his radio show Transitions. The low end throbs along growing and building along a fantastic techno groove. To Avoid Man chugs along with fantastic stabbing chords and a sweet tech house groove. Nic Fancuilli get on this! Two very distinct and different remixes complete the package. The first is from Brooklyn NY native, Matt Xavier who heads up Railyard Recordings, and has gained the love and admiration of his superiors, while Kial from San Francisco finds his own bend of slow wobbles and atmospherics for what I'd call West Coast Dubstep. Eat your heart out Bristol Massive.

01 Android Cartel - A Million Memories (Original)
02 Android Cartel - To Avoid Man (Original)
03 Android Cartel - A Million Memories (Matt Xavier Remix)
04 Android Cartel - A Million Memories (Kial Remix)

            Feedback :

Championed by John Digweed on Transitions.

Both originals for me. - Hernan Cattaneo

Original mix - Cool. - Alan Fitzpatrick

I really like To Avoid Man!
Alland Byallo | Nightlight Music. Liebe*Detail. Missive

Been really impressed with the new direction of the droid twins lately... Really into the original mix and has that same deep hypnotic feeling as the other track i used in my Transitions mix! Perfect for setting the dark tone for the night! Will be playing the original mix. The Dub is hot too even though I cant use it in my sets... Solid release. - Erphun

I like both originals on here - I think To Avoid Man is my fave that I'd play the most - Steve Perry

Matt Xavier remix is the one for me. Plenty of groove and swing for the househeads. Great production quality in the whole package. Nicely done! - Darin Epsilon [Perfecto, Baroque, darinepsilon.com]

Oh... oh... are those breaks I hear? Dirty, filthy, bassy breaks? I am in love with the Kial Dub. I also really like To Avoid Man. Nice drama and tension. - Thanks! - Jason / Proton Radio

"To Avoid Man" is for me, prolonged a little though, yet very attractive Take care! Ormatie http://www.ormatie.com

I like Matt Xavier remix. Groovy rhythm and nice always changing bass. thanks Wink UNCLE ROLL www.frequency.lt

The original mix sounds fantastic. Thanks for sending.
            cheers, -Spesh

Matt Xavier remix for me! - Embliss

So Chloe, a little bird wanted me to bug the crap out of you about your Bsides CD. Is it still coming out?

Found this when I googled championed:

Music is the answer, to your problems. Keep on movin', till you solve them.
