Anyone here ever used Micrsoft's Expression 2 or Silverlight?

I was wondering if anyone here uses MIcrosoft products for graphic and or web design, the company I work for has a database driven webpage which they need to update, the problem is that our IT company uses only microsoft products which has got me thinking if I should learn some of this products or if I cna still design using Adobe products and how this integrate into each other.
