Not sure if this is the right place, but I am one of 2 Co-Founders of a web-based startup. Looking for an experienced programmer with a passion for EDM. Please help. Below is the ad. Thanks in advance
Are you an experienced developer with a passion for music and travel? MOSA Productions, LLC is looking for a CTO/Co-Founder. MOSA is an online medium that bridges the gap between the intertwined worlds of travel and music by tailoring personalized travel adventures worldwide while keeping the client engaged with the music. You would work with our two other Co-Founders and lead all data aggregation, web design, programming and processing activities for the company. MOSA's other two Co-founders, who previously worked full-time in the investment management and investment banking industries for well established global firms, have extensive experience and connections in the US, South American, Mexican, and European nightlife business with leading clubs, promoters, and DJs. You must be an experienced, solid developer, who is self motivated and able to work well in a small team environment, as well as handle the tight deadlines and the stresses of a startup atmosphere. The ideal candidate meets the following job requirements:
College degree in C.S. or E.E., and experience as a database engineer and web programmer
Significant experience and skill building, designing, tuning, and writing scalable database applications
Significant experience and skill building, designing and writing scalable web applications
Significant experience and knowledge with open source search engine crawlers
Macromedia Flash is a plus
Understanding of current html best practices and W3C compliance
Knowledge of web services and SOAP
Graphic design skills is a plus but not necessary
Salary: Co-Founder/CTO status with equity and/or salary (negotiable)
Start Date: ASAP
