the essential mix from this year is pretty good. he used a lot of tracks from the recent album that i didn't like individually which speaks for his djing i think. this could be really cool...

this wasn't a comp in the true sense of the word. like gui's essential mix, it was a mixed collection of his own tracks and remixes. this mix collection will be the first time he's sourced beyond his own material.

yeah, hands-up on two counts here. we really weren't aware gui had done a comp like this before. it kinda went under the radar here in the uk, but that's no excuse, we should have known.

as for the tracklist, we googled it and it must have got muddled with another mix he did because it was totally incorrect. eitherway, we got it wrong.
