Camiel Daamen
In the last few years Camiel Daamen has played quite some places and produced quite
some records. Under different aliases he released tracks on Method Records, Surge en
Outside the Box music. He played venues in Holland and abroad, like Poland where he
played the Sunrise festival as Da-Milio, he also played club Ekwador in Poznan a few
times with this alias. These gigs where a good experience for him to develop his sound.
Now it is time to work as Camiel Daamen, his birth given name.
It sort of like a new start for him, to start it off Camiel Daamen signed some records on
Surge Digital and Magnitude Records to get his music out there. Also he started his own
label Snoenie Records to have him release his own music and in the future most likely he
will release the music from other artists as well. As long as music is the occupation it is
not considered as being work at all. More music will come in 2009, for 2008 the engine is
on…and with an amazing live act and dj set, Camiel Daamen will spread his music all

Magnitude Recordings: Music with a story. The feeling at the end is determined by the
beginning and further structure of a music set. Separate sounds on themselves may
sound insignificant, but put together in the right order they become so meaningful, it is
capable of releasing your deepest emotions…. A feeling that simply cannot be described.
Just be patient and you will be rewarded. That’s the beauty of music.
After more than 10 years of producing and spinning records, lots of releases and remixes
later, Francesco Pico decided the time was right to establish his own label: Magnitude
Recordings. The goal of this label is to experiment with various styles of house but
especially the freaky and deep ones: Forward Thinking Electronic Dance Music! The first
release, in May 2005, was a great start. Everyone favourably received the combination
of progressive, tech house, funk, and techno. At this moment Magnitude is supported,
played and charted by many dj’s around the world. Releases already came from
Francesco Pico, Murray Richardson, Stuccato Fusion, Roell Sapphire, Penoze Inc, Gilbert
van Haasen, Philogresz, Tim-J, Camiel Daamen, Andres Bergmann and Camiel & Fono.
and Remixes where done by names like Nosmo v Kris B, Harold Heath, Stallos, Taras van
de Voorde and Paul Hazendonk. Magnitude is busy to grow to a wel respected label and
in the near future many great artists will be released!
