Renaissance is delighted to announce a regular return to London for the first time since their legendary 12-year residence at The Cross. Starting from 30th January 2010, the renowned club promoters and label will host last the Saturday of every month at Cable.
“The venue’s perfect for us,” says Renaissance’ Geoff Oakes, “Being converted railway arches it looks a little like The Cross and certainly retains the intimate feel our fans came to know and love. However, its increased capacity provides us the perfect opportunity to expand our line-ups, both in terms of the level and variety of guests we can feature.”
And the first date is a perfect example as Gui Boratto, Ewan Pearson, Audiofly, Heidi, Hector and resident Marcus James all line-up to provide an 8-hour soundtrack across the venue’s multiple rooms.
Gui will be flying into London for an exclusive appearance to celebrate the launch of his new compilation – Renaissance: The Mix Collection, with support coming from Audiofly and Marcus; whilst Ewan Pearson head-ups a housier Room 2 alongside Radio 1 / Get Physical regular Heidi and Phonica’s Hector.
As always with Renaissance, the music tells just part of the story; bespoke décor and visuals will feature heavily, providing a perfect backdrop for the specially selected performances that will punctuate the night. Be it comedic, burlesque, saucy or the down right weird and wonderful, they’ll complete a package where the emphasis has been firmly placed on creating the perfect party… this could be the club night London’s been missing and waiting for.
