i watched this last night, i really liked it alot. good movie about isolation and being lonely in todays world, even though we are connected more than ever (phones, internet, etc). i didn't think the product placing was that bad, made it feel real and actually makes it easier to believe that there are people out there who are living exactly like this.

I really enjoyed it, and didn't find the product placement component of it to be distracting at all, and if anything, the constant mention of brands that are really only of interest to people that travel a lot made it feel a bit more realistic. I (thankfully) don't travel as much as I used to, but when I was on the road every week, reward programs, miles, what car I'd get, etc. all mattered A LOT, and those brands are pretty much your whole world. A movie set in airports and hotels that lacked those brands probably wouldn't have felt right, like when you're playing a video football game but they don't use real teams or players.

That's great it wasn't distracting for most, because it seemed like a commercial to me... I'd rate the film a 6.5 out 10, which is in rent if you're bored category, not go to a theater category for me personally.

It was fun while it lasted...

Liked it, simple story, not too heavy with moments of lightness. Easy watching. Thought Clooney and the married chick had a good chemistry. Not sure about the kid, she looks she's playing dress-up in adult's clothes. Well I guess she's meant to be fresh out of school.

I don't think it's really product placement in a commercial sense. Knowing people who fly, they do use the same brands for miles and rewards. And given the nomadic nature of the story, each logo is almost a signpost for familiarity and home, that's all these frequent flyers recognise--notice Clooney's apartment is contrastingly sparse and lacks any 'personal branding'.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I related to it well since I traveled for work for an entire year living out of hotels and airports just like Clooney's character did.
