unless they pull 2 back, and howard can stop a shot, they'll be coming home early... looks like they massively underestimated Slovenia, now that Slovenia player doesn't look so daft guaranteeing victory huh?

I'm really shocked at these matches today.. a bit nervous for England now, lol

Just as a curiosity, we ran a company-wide poll over here at the office, for prizes, where everybody was asked to vote for the 2 teams going through from each group, here are the predictions I made (FYI, this was voted on the day the WC started) :

A : Mexico and Uruguay (looks like I�m gonna nail this one)
B : Argentina and Greece (still possible)
C : England and Slovenia
D : Germany and Ghana
E : Holland and Denmark
F : Italy and Paraguay
G : Brazil and Ivory Coast (yeah, I didn�t vote for my own country...)
H : Spain and Chile

because he didn't like it over there whenhe was in Germany early in his career, he came back, plays in the MLS and now they won't let him go which is why his loan spell was not extended

Great effort from the US in the second half... imo deserves the draw but Slovenia can make some serious damage before the end of the game... Very nice match
