I think eventually Germany are gonna beat the Netherlands after winning against Spain tomorrow. Who thinks the Netherlands are definitely able to beat Germany and why?
I don't think it was offside, he didn't appear to be offside when the ball was hit, lines men are supposed to give the benefit to the attacker, and then it deflected off of two defenders.. it was close for sure, and had it been called I don't think it would have been the most controversial call in the world cup thus far
as far as Germany and Holland.. the Dutch seem to go through spells where they lose a bit of concentration, and I've yet to see that from the Germans.. if Germany get by Spain tomorrow, as much as I'd like to see Holland win (nothing against Germany), they are going to have to be on form for the full 90 plus minutes.. and they deffo can't have any lapses in goal like on Forlan's strike today.. it was a great goal, but my god, you've got to be expecting a shot from any where, and the keeper appeared to be way too far off of his line for how unpredictable that ball is
Uruguay?
no clue, why do you say that? I missed the first goal, but I don't see how he could have saved the other two.. 2 deflections and a header completely the other side of the goal, there was no way he was getting to Robben's goal
their goalie took out a couple of good shots. vanbron's shot was not deflected it was pure power and aerodynamics wow, and robbens was just beautiful.
persie didnt touch the ball so it couldnt have been offside, im glad the side referees didnt mistake it and lift their flags.
i think that neth. has a good chance of winning against either spain or ger, def ger will be a tougher game for them, coz of the speed and team play of the germans, but again its the same kinda football nethr play so it will be a real tight one, wont be surprised if it went to penalties.
I didn't say Giovanni Van Bronckhorst's goal was deflected, I said I didn't see it, but the next one was deflected twice
Robben's was great wasn't it, changing direction and heading it far post, no chance for the goalie
van persie was in the goalie's line of sight which I think was the question, not whether he touched it or not.. but when the ball was played he was onside then it was deflected, therefore not offside.. I think that's how the law reads
I really hope the final doesn't go to penalties, but the way GER, ESP and NED are scoring goals, I don't see that
this will be the first time a European country has won the world cup away from their home continent

Guys and Gals, I have to hurry/leaving for short-term vacations.
I won't be back until next Tuesday, so if Get Carter is the correct answer, I would appreciate of someone else posts a new cap for me
I always enjoy reading transfer rumours around world cup time, I think club owners need to relax a bit and not make knee jerk transfer offers because someone scored a few goals in the world cup.. granted it's a great accomplishment to score for your country, but international success doesn't always equate to club level success and vice versa.. just reading about Klose and his deal possibly falling through with West Ham :-\
