    Second to none imo - but i guess it's as personal a choice as anything else..

    I like them not just for the sound but also comfort, an often overlooked factor if you plan on wearing them for any length of time..

        This looks like an awesome deal for Sennheiser's. Just hope that they are not too heavy.

          ^^On that price range I would get Shure 310 they are in ear headphones but so sweet its feels like you have a subwoofer in the center of your head.

            I ended up getting the Bose QC15 Quiet Comfort as a pressie for Christmas. Now I'm not sure if I wanna keep it or exchange it for the On Ear ones.... hmmmmm

              What's wrong with your Bose? The one Kamal and I have tried don't have any active noise cancelling. I think it's the On Ear Headphones.

                Oh nothing wrong with it. I'm was just wondering if the On Ear ones are lighter in weight. If not I'll just keep the QC15.

                    ^what he said. i've had technics, pioneer, and allen and heath and the AH are by far the best i've owned for djing. i narrowed my search down to the HD25, Ultrasones, and the AH. It was a pretty easy choice picking the AH after i listened to them all.

                    Professional Monitoring Headphones The new Xone XD-53 professional monitoring headphones have been developed to complete any professional DJ?s set up, and complements perfectly the Xone DJ mixer range. Best headphones ive used: Sennheiser. Specially the open-air ones, which feel like if you got nothing on your ears. I still have my HD-570 and they work like a charm.
                          Dont panic, its organic.

                              fair dinkum

                              My sennheisers sound great and despite appearing bulky, can be worn for hours without even noticing.

                              For dj'ing they're next to useless as they neither have enough volume or enough "punch" for the job.
                              Also, they don't stand up well to the twisting and general physical abuse of using them out.
                              So for dj'ing i have a cheap and cheerful pair of Sonys that were given to me by a friend and have stood the test of time..

                              If i listen at home in the sony ones, it's about half an hour only before my ears are red hot and i want to take them off

                              edit;;
                              i'm sure sennheisers range cater for djs and different models vary - i'm just talking about mine
