yeah, pedro said he wants the mets to steal varitek from boston, and with boston refusing to sign for the no trade clause, it is a possibility. i hope it gets done.

actually, pedro was the one who stood behind v-tek most of the year when people were saying he was too old to be a full time catcher, also pedro was the one at the end of the year who said he wanted to be back with varitek, even though he was testing the market.
