^ think that's about it really

My gut feeling is that the bloke is a cock, but he's not alone there in the music business is he? I don't resent his success, good luck to him..

And as for his fans, when it boils down to it the difference between the people who go and see him and the people who go and see sasha et all is only very slight really.

You'll probably find you have much more in common with those people than you let yourself admit, and i'll put money on it a lot of you will have been out and danced to his productions whether knowingly or not..

Or do you leave the dancefloor/stop having a good time when one of his tunes comes on for no other reason than it was made by him?

^ If you do then that is way fuckin weirder than playing records in a mouse head

Exactly. He is hardly a waste of time IMO. I happen to like several of his tracks and I am sure he will continue to put out tracks that people like. He can't please everyone (nor can any DJ), but there are people out there that enjoy his music.

As DIDI has pointed out, we have threads like this bashing other DJ's and other styles all the time and they definitely always seem to appear in and around the time of the DJ Mag polls.

If you don't like someones music, simply don't listen to it. I feel like I've said these words a million times.....I just don't get the point of bashing other DJ's....just because you don't like their music, doesn't mean they aren't talented...just listen to what you enjoy and carry on about your day....why people have to be so negative all the time is beyond me....life is too short for drama

i dont care for him, never did even before his incident, but that being said when he was in Tampa he packed the place and i've heard nothing but good reviews.. if you dig his choons there's no reason to not go see him..

having said that, i really dont see the point in starting these threads about any artist as its always going be split 50/50 for the most part

Happy Hardcore. LOL!! There was a massive Happy Hardcore scene in N. Ireland in mid - late Nineties. Quite unavoidable at times!!

apparently i like some of his tunes, but he still is a waste of time for me. when you represent a music scene made of love, peace and respect for each other, you have to support these things as well and not be an asshole who dont care about your fans or other fellow djs, actually dont care about nothing except yourself and your success.. i remember in another forum kosmas epsilon tried once to get in touch with joel about remixing some tunes of kosmas and the result was not only the job to be cancelled but joel left kosmas with the worst impressions apparently and this was something that took place even before joels first incident with the paper... its just his attitude i think and the young of his age, that make him so shithead!!! as for the dj mag poll, honest to god, nothing to do with that, i didnt even know what his position was, but being so high as you said, it means that hes got some serious fans out there! at least im not one of them!

Right after you have made an incredible personal attack , based on stuff you read in forums???? Nothing to do with music at all. !! As I keep saying we have heard it all before with various embellishments, so it is BORING!!! . I think most of us are capable of forming an opinion without you shoving yours down our throat continually. !!!

Btw if there was ever any doubt that you only wanted to people to agree with you. They were well and truly dispelled by your last post
