All DIDI is getting at is that people post threads like this all the time that simply stir the pot and she finds it pointless and boring (as I am sure others do as well)...I could be blind, but I am not seeing how she is attacking you personally

Come on it's GYY, there're heaps of pointless drivel and boring threads, that's the fun. No different from the BT/Oakenfold/Tiesto threads we have, deadmau5 should be pleased he joined their ranks.

Stop stirring feather, you are intelligent enough to read those threads and be able to tell the difference. We have a bit of lighthearted fun with the others, they certainly don't sink to the depths of Deadmau5 threads . If anyone was doing to them what has been done to DM I would be on that as well. I'm an equal opportunity defender.

Btw When did pointless drivel and boring threads become fun?? You need to get out more.

Re: is deadmau5 a waste of time?

I'm intelligent enough to think everyone is simply overreacting. Spyro's first post didn't even have anything inflammatory in it, it was just one sentence
moment of truth for the mousekid
that hardly deserves the comments that follow. He didn't begin by bashing the producer. We're just being sensitive cos we frequent GYY and have seen similar deadmau5 threads in the past.

Whether we think deadmau5 has any merit at all, is subjective. However, his behaviour and comments in interviews set himself up as a target.

It's the same with the Tenaglia thread after he whinged like a baby, they cop the fallout for behaving the way they do.

If I walked into a pub and said something offensive regarding some cricket or football player the way deadmau5 or some other EDM tool have behaved, I'm sure I'll suffert more than a few discussion threads or comments.

You're either taking yourself far too seriously , or being disingenuous! The poll was most definitely inflammatory, secondly if that didn't convince you, his second second post certainly should have. Not to mention the following ones. On top of that, it was pretty obvious I was aiming at the whole thread.

I believe hate threads speak more to the participants than the targets.

I also believe most of the stuff about him is rumour and innuendo because he has had the nerve to answer back the keyboard warriors. They think calling him names is cool.???

We actually saw what Tenaglia did and we still weren't as harsh

This is getting to the stage where I have said everything I want to say and I'm not really into debating / arguing for the sake of it at the moment. If anyone chooses to interpret my words to anything else bar what they actually say, that is their problem Dancing Queen had it right.

Really DD, wtf. You're accusing me of taking myself too seriously or being hypocritical?

Seriously? And you wonder why people think you're getting personal in this thread.

LOL ... I've purposely stayed away from this.

There were a couple of ticking timebomb threads last year resulting in a heavy dose of banning.

We all need to chill and re-group - this one seems to have spiralled.
