This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.

IIRC new owners have taken over The End. Now called The Den, anyone been since the changeover?

And good riddance to Turnmills, awful venue!

I went there quite a bit in the 90's, I had some great nights but the layout of the club was awful. I'm guessing that's why they kept changing it.

Here in Boston Avalon closed about 2 yrs ago. Now it"s a House of Blues. I haven't been following it closely so im not sure if they book dj acts. The Roxy the other big club is closing after nye. I heard they are not renewing their license.I dont think that has anything to do with the recession.

I miss Axis & Avalon Every Friday I was at Avaland for a full year at least. I read The Roxy was under new management but noone really knew the type of music or what they would be doing there.
