Here is a set from the archives. Back in '97 and '98 my brother and I were playing at a club in Daytona called Stealth. Stealth was actually the first club I went too when I was 14 (yes I have been clubbing that long). It was originally called Spectrum and back then (80's) they played progressive or depending on your age New Wave. So it was just a thrill for me to be playing there and returning back to the place that started it all for me as far as electronic music was concerned.
Anyways I played on New Years starting at midnight of '98 (I labeled the tape '97 because that was the event) and nobody knew I was recording myself so on the recording you hear Eric Berretta and another guy come on the microphone to wish everyone a happy new year. Somewhere along the line someone left the mic on and I subsequently got the crowd on the recording as well. Every new year's I break this set out and listen to it really just for the nostalgia of it and to remember what a fun night it was. A lot of drunk people ringing in the new year and having some fun. I should also note that the last song on side 2 is my brother's opening track (the one with the train horns from the KLF).
Enjoy!
