A Christmas cd of blues just came out called "Where Will You Be Christmas Day?". It has old blues singers like Lead Belly and Bessie Smith. You might also try very early Rolling Stones. All they did was covers of blues recordings and they did a they did a great job.Cat formerly known as Cheshire

albert king was a huge influence on SRV...so was hendrix (check out his blues cd)
umm...muddy waters is less rockish, but classic...bb king has a live at cook county jail (i think that's where it is) which is pretty famous.Comment
