Anything that I download that isn't mp3 can be converted to mp3 so that's what I do (on the rare occassion I actually download something that isn't mp3). When [ms] starts hosting sets in OGG or FLAC I'll think about switching players.

Yeah, like I said I don't use all of them. FLAC is my format of choice, but the source has to be lossless itself. It wouldn't make much sense to encode an mp3 into FLAC because the frequncies are already cut out. As for [ms] hosting lossless sets, well...that will happen definitely never. An hour long set would be about 300-400 Meg. I'd pay for the bandwidth myself if I knew there would be a steady stream of sets coming in. Imagine...straight from the DAT to your speakers.

If you haven't tried any lossless formats you really should dude. It's like CD players to 8 tracks.

As a follow up to a my previous post, the Iriver H320 (which I was talking about as being better than an IPOD, IMHO)... is on sale... blatantly ripped below:

                borrowed...

Best Buy has the Iriver H320 in their Sunday ad for $279 with a $30 rebate bringing it down to $250, which in itself is a great deal considering that the lowest price on Pricegrabber is $285+shipping, but when I went to pick one up this morning, it rang up for $266,+ you still get the rebate, so that brings it down to $236! Not a bad deal at all. For reviews of the player, check cnet, or type the model # into google for a bunch of links to reviews. I have researched the player myself and have heard great things about it. Good luck!
